Our skaters, skiers and runners gave it their all to make the 2025 Winter Triathlon on February 21 a resounding success. And by opening their hearts, they encouraged other people to do the same: a total of $802,000 was raised to help give children from across the province a healthy start in life.
This year marked the 19th edition of the event, organized by L’élan pour Sainte-Justine. Some 400 people braved the cold at Maisonneuve Park to warm the hearts of everyone at the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.

Going the Extra Mile for Children Like Shirine and Siham
750 and 880 grams: that’s what twin preemies Shirine and Siham weighed when they came into the world at 26 weeks. Fortunately, they were exactly where they needed to be — at the Sainte-Justine NICU, where 1,500 babies, including 130 extreme preemies, receive the very best care each and every year.
Today, a year and a half later, Shirine and Siham are at home and the picture of health. They will be ambassadors for the 2025 Winter Triathlon. And thanks to your support, their future is brighter than ever.
